Around the first of May there will be another Williams being welcomed into this world. I haven't heard yet what HER name is going to be, but she'll be a girl with the last name of Williams so she's bound to be wonderful! Can't wait to teach her all that I know... :)
I can't wait. They're so cute to hold, then they get to Ty's age where they're so cute to run and chase after and ride the 4wheeler with.
Keep them in your prayers as they go through the whole pregnancy part and help Ty get use to sharing some attention. I think he'll do great with it.

Without Expectations...
What would your life look like if you lived without expectations?
You served because you love the Lord. Not because you want something in return.
You spend time with the Lord because it is His joy to be with you. not because you seek an answer from him.
You love because God's greatest command is to love your neighbor. Not because you want love in return.
You do all that you do everyday without expecting something from someone in return. No more of the you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours mentality. It's simply the living like Jesus lifestyle that scripture calls us to have. Jesus gave it all up for us. He had it made hanging out in Heaven with God. But he gave it all up for us. Desiring that we respond to him but fully realizing many of us would not. Yet, he came anyways. He came out of obedience, not expectancy.
What if we lived in obedience with the little things in life. Those little things like our attitudes. The way we respect others. The integrity we show in daily life. The thoughts that go through our minds. The actions we take with our hands. Letting God flow through the little things in life. How much different would the bigger things turn out if we could get a better grasp on the little things?
I do not ask these things because I have accomplished them or am even remotely close to succeeding. I ask these because these are things the Lord has been asking of me lately. Every day is a new day. A new opportunity to be used by the Lord. But everyday we have to make the conscience choice that we want to be used by Him. That His desires mean more than our own.

Baby time
I got to spend the day with my friend Sarah and her cute baby Caleb. There's is just something wonderfully precious about a sleeping baby in your arms! I'm not sure what it is, but it's so cool. When I was in Egypt I got to have baby Kaylee sleep in my arms and I remember thinking there was something about that. And I had that same thought again today.
There's something about the trust they have in you at that moment. They do not fear they will be dropped or forgotten or lost. They trust you completely enough to just fall asleep in your arms. The child like faith, scripture tells us that's what we need and I was reminded of that beautiful analogy with Caleb in my arms.
I also realized how much I struggle to simply rest in my Savior's arms. I'm too full of fear that I'll miss something or that he might not take care of me the way I want him to. I'm too worried about the things I need to accomplish when so very often the only thing Christ needs for me to accomplish is to rest in His arms. I can only imagine the joy it brings Jesus when I rest in His arms because it brought me such joy the way Caleb could rest in mine.
Granted I've never had kids of my own so I only get to experience the fun times of a day with a baby and I don't get to deal with the sleepless nights but God did something powerful in creating babies the way he did to have to fully depend on their parents to care for them. It creates such a picture of how we are to be totally dependent upon Christ. Not a little dependent or sort of dependent but completely and totally dependent on our Lord and Savior! That's so much easier said than done but man those moments when I do totally rest in Him. That peace feels so great.
Thanks for a fun day bloss! You are a wonderful wife and mama! I'm so proud of you.

Ty
Found out today that Ty, my nephew, is in the hospital to get some IVs. He has the flu which is creating a fever which is not wanting to go down because he is also dehydrated. He just turned 3 last month and is just adorable. But being sick is no fun for anyone and it's even worse when you have to go to the hospital that's a strange place to be sick. Will post more when i find out tomorrow.

this made me laugh!
Pretty good joke here...
Pastor's Business Card
A new pastor was visiting in the homes of his parishioners. At one
house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to
his repeated knocks at the door.
Therefore, he took out a business card and wrote "Revelation 3:20" on
the back of it and stuck it in the door.
When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that
his card had been returned. Added to it was this cryptic message,
"Genesis 3:10."
Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales
of laughter.
Revelation 3:20 begins "Behold, I stand at the door and knock."
Genesis 3:10 reads, "I heard your voice in the garden and I was
afraid for I was naked."

What's it going to take?
I find beating around the bush to be a useless skill. So let me just ask. What's your relationship with the Lord look like?
typical answers are generally as follows...
1. well, it's been better but it's been worse.
2. i've been really busy lately
3. i went to church yesterday
4. i'm a sunday school teacher
5. i'm a deacon
6. i've been on a "mission trip"
7. i use to go to church
8. i like Gospel music
9. i don't cuss, drink or smoke
10. i'm a virgin (what? i know)
those are in no particular order just some random comments i've heard from people before. All of which i generally respond with what does ANY of that have to do with your R-E-L-A-T-I-O-N-S-H-I-P with the Lord??
The first comment generally says you're content with not being near the Lord. All the rest are our feeble attempts to earn our way into Heaven. (Bubble buster) You can't earn your way into Heaven, (See Ephesians 2:8-9 to confirm) www.biblegateway.com
My question is what in the world is it going to take for YOU to get serious with God? Do you care more about this day or do you have a greater care and concern for what's going to be happening in eternity? Generally, that's a pretty easy question for most folks to answer. We're so wrapped up in our life here on this earth we don't even make time to think of what life will be like in eternity. If your concern for this earth is greater than eternity, spiritually you are very sick. You need to see the Physician! Because the longer you go through life with this sickness you are just going to continue infecting all those that you meet with the same sickness...
The sickness is being lukewarm for the Lord. I'm not making this up but in Revelation 2:16 God says, "So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold. I will spit you out of My mouth." God's not joking! He takes laziness for His sake VERY serious. Still ok with being spiritually lazy? I hurt for you... Not only will you destroy your life but you will have a great impact on every person in your life. (Matthew 18:7-11)
Seriously, what's it going to take for people to get right with the Lord and begin true relationships with Him? What's it going to take for YOU to get to that point? Has He not done enough for you already?

Greetings to all
Some of you have made the comment you've enjoyed my writings about Egypt. Some of you have not. :) Writing is something i enjoy doing, not the grammatical part but the pouring out of my thoughts part. My hearts desire is to see lost people come to know the Lord then be discipled so that they understand why they just got saved. If one person from reading one thing I write gets a better picture of who God is and why He is an amazing God, then my writings will have served it's purpose.
Fair warning... if you don't want to know what I think, then I wouldn't suggest reading. My writings generally are not for the faint of heart. I write what I feel the Lord speaks to me. Take my writings for whatever they're worth to you. If I ever go against God's Word on any subject please let me know. Enjoy the ramblings...
